Inaugural Team Minnesota Roster Announced

Written by Griffin Hout | October 17, 2025

EDINA, Minn. (Oct. 17, 2025) — Exactly a year to the day that USGA announced Minnesota’s inclusion into the new U.S. National Development Program (USNDP) – a state-level initiative to identify and fill a pipeline for elite golfers – the Minnesota Golf Association (MGA) is pleased to announce the inaugural Team Minnesota roster.

“Team Minnesota is creating new opportunities for the state’s junior golfers by building stronger pipelines for development—connecting athletes to competitive experiences, training and support that help them grow their games and gain national exposure. These first 24 athletes are helping pave the way for every young golfer who will follow in their footsteps,” said Holly Noble, Captain of Team Minnesota and MGA Women's Golf Manager.

Currently, 30 states have junior golf teams as part of the USNDP, and the USGA aims to include all 50 states by 2033.

A committee of representatives from the MGA and the Minnesota PGA Section (MNPGA) met in September to finalize the selections of 12 boys and 12 girls who will form the 2026 team.
