A 75 at Northern Hills Puts Mosman Through to MGA Mid-Players' Championship

  ROCHESTER, Minn. – Elton Mosman carded a 3-over par 75 Nothern Hills Golf Club Monday to earn medalist honors and also qualified for a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Mid-Players’ Championship.

A field of five players competed for just one qualifying spot to this year’s tournament, which will be played co-currently with the MGA Senior Players’ Championship June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club, in Wayzata, Minn.

Mosman, Eastwood Golf Club, fired a 1-under par 35 on the opening nine before shooting a 4-over par 40 on the back to claim the sole qualifying spot.

Kennedy Cheruiyot, Northern Hills Golf Club, and David Schmid, Hazeltine National Golf Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
