The mission of the MGA Foundation is to make golf more accessible for all Minnesotans, foster personal growth and community development, and ensure sustainability for future generations.
MGA Foundation Programs and Scholarships

Youth on Course Minnesota
Golf is more than a sport—it’s a pathway to opportunity. Youth on Course Minnesota provides juniors ages 6-18 with $5 or less rounds at participating Minnesota golf courses.

Women’s Scholarship
Since 1998, this program has awarded over $700,000 in golf scholarships to 82 young women pursuing higher education.

Jim Mendesh Memorial Scholarship
For students pursuing trades or technical careers, this scholarship supports those working toward a certificate or associate’s degree at an accredited vocational or technical school.
