Rooted in our core mission, the Community Fund supports local projects that expand access to the game, foster personal growth, and build a sustainable future for golf across Minnesota. Driving Grassroots Change

Beginning in 2026, the Minnesota Golf Association's 125th Anniversary year, the MGA Foundation will offer grants intended to empower grassroots initiatives that deliver immediate and meaningful community value. These grants are designed to be flexible and responsive — meeting organizations where they are and fueling ideas that create real impact on the ground.

We prioritize projects that:

  • Strengthen community connections by using golf as a platform for inclusion and engagement

  • Promote personal development through mentorship, education, and leadership opportunities

  • Make golf more accessible to youth, families, and underserved communities

  • Support long-term sustainability, ensuring the game remains vibrant for future generations
