CARLTON, Minn. – Amateur Daniel Conley carded a 2-over par 74 Wednesday at Black Bear Golf Club to earn medalist and the lone qualifying position for the Minnesota State Open.
The qualifier was held to determine the field for this year’s 97th championship which will be played July 25-27 at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, Minn.
Conley, Eagle Valley Golf Club, qualified while Michael Marshall, Oak Ridge Country Club, shot a 4-over par 76 to finish as first alternate.
