Cook and Johnson Earn Spots at MGA Players' Championship

  CLOQUET, Minn. – Carding rounds of 4-over par 74 Tuesday at Cloquet Country Club, Cody Cook and Shane Johnson earned a share of medalist honors and also qualified for the 2016 Minnesota Golf Association Players’ Championship.

Tuesday’s qualifier was held to determine the field at this year’s event, which will be played June 20-22 at Madden’s Resort on Gull Lake in Brainerd, Minn.

Alex Kolquist, Ridgeview Country Club, and Evan Skaar, Eagle Ridge Golf Course, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
