Heavy Rain Postpones MGA Mid-Players' and Senior Players' Championship

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – After more than a five-hour delay Thursday, the final matches of the Minnesota Golf Association Mid-Players’ and Senior Players’ Championships at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club have been postponed until Friday.

The final two matches were scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday but heavy rainfall throughout most of the Twin Cities metro area forced a delay.

Tournament officials along with the grounds crew were hoping to start play Thursday at approximately 2 p.m., but wet conditions forced the matches to be postponed.

Starting times for the final matches are now scheduled for Friday, beginning at 8 a.m. at Brackett's Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, Minn.
