Hurley Claims Lone Spot at MGA Senior Players' Qualifier

  ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Shooting a 6-over par 78 Tuesday at Territory Golf Club, Jim Hurley earned medalist honors and a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Senior Players’ Championship.

Just two players made up the qualifying field with one available spot in this year’s tournament, which will be played co-currently with the MGA Mid-Players’ Championship June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club in Wayzata, Minn.

Hurley, St. Cloud Country Club, fired 3-over par 36 on both nines to grab the lone qualifying spot, while Mark Follmer, Territory Golf Club, finished as first alternate.
