  CHASKA, Minn. -- Curtis Mohr fired a 3-under par 69 at Bluff Creek Golf Course Monday to earn medalist honors and qualify for the Minnesota Golf Association's Amateur Championship.

Mohr, Chaska Town Course, qualified along with 14 other players for a spot in the MGA's Amateur Championship July 15-17 at Medina Golf and Country Club.

Chad Merzbacher, Bluff Creek Golf Course, finished one stroke behind the leader at 2-under par 70 to qualify while Kevin Falconer, Olympic Hills Golf Club, carded a 1-under par 71 to qualify as well.

Dylan Baker, Chaska Town Course, and John Hafdal, Wilds Golf Club, punched a ticket to the Amateur Championship as they both finished at even par 72.

David Anderson, Bent Creek Golf Club, Jeff Olson, Anoka Golf Club, and Mark Thompson, Valleywood Golf Course, finished at first, second and third alternates, respectively.
