Peter Shoots 70 in Rochester to Qualify for MGA Players' Championship

  ROCHESTER, Minn. – Andrew Peter’s 2-under par 70 Monday at Northern Hills Golf Club earned him medalist honors as well as a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Players’ Championship.

A field of nine players made up the qualifier with two available spots for this year’s tournament, which will be played June 22-24 at Spring Hill Golf Club in Wayzata, Minn.

Peter, Northfield Golf Club, will be joined by Peter Jones, Owatonna Golf Club, who fired a 1-under par 71 Monday to qualify.

Bobby Thomas, Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, and C.J. Fritcher, Hadley Creek Golf Learning Center, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
