COON RAPIDS, Minn. – Despite an early double-bogey and a late bogey on the final hole, Andrew Peter still managed a 2-under par 70 Saturday to take a one-stroke lead at the 2015 Twin Cities Championship at Bunker Hills Golf Club.

Peter, who advanced to the Round of 16 at the Minnesota Golf Association Players’ Championship earlier in the week, rebounded from his double-bogey at the second hole with three birdies on the front nine to make the turn at 1-under.

Rolling in two more birdies early on the back nine, Peter moved to 3-under for the round, but would bogey the final hole to card a 70, taking a one-stroke lead into the final round Sunday.

Dylan Gergen, a two-time champion, Jesse Larson and Anson Kuznik will begin the final round one shot off the lead as all three golfers carded rounds of 1-under par 71 Saturday.

Jamie Quesnel and John Dillion fired rounds of even par 72 during the opening round Saturday at Bunker Hills as the two sit tied for fifth with 18 holes to play.

The final round of the 2015 Twin Cities Championship shifts to Keller Golf Club Sunday, with tee times beginning at noon.
