Pint and Peterson Claim Spots at MGA Players' Championship

  MANKATO, Minn. – Carding a 1-over par 72 at Mankato Golf Club Wednesday, Jeff Pint earned medalist honors as well as a spot in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Players’ Championship.

The qualifying field was comprised of 21 players looking for one of three spots available for the championship, which will be played June 22-24 at Spring Hill Golf Club.

Pint, New Prague Golf Club, will be joined by Andy Peterson, Green Lea Golf Club, who carded a 2-over par 73, as well as Jacob Sweetman, Southern Hills Golf Club, who claimed the final spot shooting 3-over par 74.

Cordell Weber, Fox Lake Golf Club, and Alex Syverson, Wedgewood Cove Golf Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
