Extended Season Boosts Golf Rounds in Minnesota in 2024

WOODBURY, Minn. – Bradley Wohlers carded a 1-under par 71 Tuesday at Eagle Valley Golf Club to earn medalist honors and also qualified for the Minnesota Golf Association Player’s Championship.
The qualifier was held to determine the field at the 36th Players’ Championship, which will be held June 23-25 at Woodhill Country Club in Wayzata, Minn. A field of 45 players competed for seven qualifying spots.
Wohlers, Manitou Ridge Golf Club, qualifies along with Andrew Benson, Minnetonka Country Club, and David Morgan, Mendakota Country Club, who both carded an even par 72.
Chris Conklin, Hazeltine National Golf Club, and Ross Miller, Riverwood National Men’s Club, also earned a spot in the championship as they both shot a 1-over par 73.
Jack Reister, Braemar Golf Course, qualified by shooting a 2-over par 74 and Jack Barnhart, Hastings Country Club, grabbed the final spot, shooting a 3-over par 75.
Will Hickey, Chisago Lakes Golf Course, and Paul Meyer, Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
