Detlefsen, Eastview Are Lake Conference Winners at Heritage Links

Sarah Detlefsen, the 2008 Minnesota State Girls Junior champion, won medalist honors with an even-par 36 at Heritage Links in a Lake Conference tournament.

The Eastview ninth-grader finished two strokes ahead of teammate Anna Drahos, who wound up in second place, three strokes ahead of the third-place finisher Lizzy Hogan of Eden Prairie.

This was a three-team event, with each of the three teams playing each of the two others. Eastview won both of its matches with a combined score of 164. Eden Prairie turned in a 169, and beat Lakeville South, which had a 180 aggregate. 

Elsewhere in the Lake, Rosemount won a four-team competition at the Chaska Town Course with a 185, four shots better than second-place Bloomington Jefferson could do.

Becca Eggers made it a sweep for Rosemount, as the Irish senior won the individual medal with a 42. Molly Erickson of Jefferson was next with a 44, and Betsy Wallin of Rosemount was third with a 45.
