Eligibility:

This Final Stage Qualifying is open only to those players who have successfully qualified at a Local Stage as well as those who are exempt into the Final Stage.

Qualifying Spots: 6      Alternates: 2

Format/Qualifying Places: Format is 18-holes, stroke play (NEW BEGINNING IN 2024). The field of contestants will compete for qualifying places and two alternate positions in the 124th United States Amateur Golf Championship to be played August 12-18 at Hazeltine National Golf Club and Chaska Town Course, Chaska, Minnesota.

Paperwork: A copy of the Local Rules, Hole Location Sheet and USGA Hard Card will be available for taking a picture if you have not downloaded a copy to your phone in advance. There WILL NOT be paper copies distributed at your Starting Tee.  NOTE: The Hole Locations sheet will be published on the webpage AFTER 6P OF THE DAY PRIOR TO THE QUALIFYING.

Electronic Scoring: The official method of scoring will be electronic by use of the Golf Genius Mobile App. Paper scorecards WILL NOT provided to players for the purpose of scoring. Players should review the printed and video educational information posted on the Qualifying webpage to be prepared for this process. Also, players should make sure their mobile devices are fully charged prior to beginning play and to have charging cables for use between rounds.

Playoffs: In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position and/or the 1st and 2nd alternate positions, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held immediately following the completion of play. All announcements regarding the playoff will be made at the public scoreboard upon completion of the qualifying round.
