Players from Minnesota or with Minnesota connections

2025 PGA TOUR

Pos. Name (Prev.) From Events Money won

24. Brian Campbell (165), Newport Bch., Calif. 4 $1,281,032
(Before winning the Mexico Open on Sunday, Campbell had earned a grand total of $303,115 in 27 PGA Tour events, $21,032 of it this year in his first three starts. But the 31-year-old former University of Illinois All-American -- and 2014 Big Ten Player of the Year -- has also made $1.185 million on the Korn Ferry Tour in 159 events. He has never won out there, but has had five runner-up finishes, including three last year. It should give hope the the short-hitters of the world that as of Sunday night, Campbell ranked No. 186, or dead last, in the PGA Tour's driving distance stats, with an average of 277.8 yards per drive. The guy he beat in the playoff Sunday, 20-year-old Aldrich Potgieter, is No. 1 in driving distance, at 326.9 yards, and Rory McElroy is No. 2, two-tenths of a yard behind at 326.7.)
