Farley-Gallagher and Schommer-Tylke Advance to U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship

BYRON, Minn - With rounds of 8-under 64, Mack Farley and Ryan Gallagher will join Corey Schommer and Max Tylke at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., for the 2026 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.

Farley and Gallagher, who played college golf together at Saint John’s University and graduated after the 2016–17 season, made one bogey and nine birdies on Monday, including five straight to start the back nine. A final birdie from Gallagher on the 18th was enough to secure co-medalist honors and punch their ticket to Scottsdale.

Schommer and Tylke’s path to eight under included an eagle and six birdies, capped by clutch birdies from both players on the par-5 18th hole. Fresh off a runner-up finish last week at the 2025 Minnesota Public Golf Association Combination Championship, the duo is enjoying a strong finish to their season.

Schommer and Tylke first attempted to qualify for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship in 2016, and nine years later they have finally broken through.

In a 3-for-2 playoff for the alternate spots, David Morgan and Ben Greve advanced alongside Grant Smith and Willis Gaer.

The 2026 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship will be contested May 16–20. It will mark the first time Desert Mountain Club has hosted a USGA championship.
