MS. AND MR. MINNESOTA GOLF FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

EDINA, Minn. (June 5, 2024) -- The Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf Committee is pleased to announce the 2024 finalists of top female and male high school senior golfers in Minnesota. They are:

Amelia Morton, Maple Grove
Jovie Ordal, Lakeville South
Lily Vincelli, Cretin-Derham Hall
Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen, Lake City

Mr. Minnesota Golf
Jimmy Abdo, Edina
Jake Birdwell, Spring Lake Park
Jack Holtz, Alexandria Area
Peyton Savageau, Totino-Grace
Hunter Schmidt, Martin County West
Ryan Stendahl, Maple Grove
Tully Super, Holy Family
Evan Villagomez, Heritage Christian

In determining the finalists, the committee focused on their respective performances in the 2024 high school tournament season utilizing data compiled from the MGA High School Rankings, the iWanamaker App and competitive results from head-to-head meets, major 36-hole competitions and sections. From the finalists, two individual golfers will be presented with the award, Ms. Minnesota Golf and Mr. Minnesota Golf, at 6 p.m., Sunday June 9 at the Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence, Minn.

Olivia Herrick, 35, Roseville, Minn., a six-time MGA Women's Player of the Year with 13 individual state golf championships will be this year's keynote speaker. All finalists and their families will be invited to attend.

About the Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf Award
The annual award was created in 2016 to recognize the outstanding male and female high school senior golfer based on their performance on the golf course, academic achievement and strength of character. Finalists are chosen by a committee of high school coaches and amateur golf representatives.
